Architect José Manuel Garrido
About me
When I was little I really liked to draw. Like so many children.
However, unlike others, who give up that hobby when they get older, I continued making my drawings during puberty and even into adolescence.
It was at that time that I began to draw houses, from the most complete ignorance because no one among my family and friends could guide me about it, or so I thought.
However, seeing my interest in the subject, an uncle of mine, who wanted to study delineation remotely, gave me the teaching material he had kept.
For me it was a revelation to admire the plans and designs of the 1950s chalets that populated those lessons and that captivated me to the point that I began to copy them and try to make my own designs.
As I was a studious boy with excellent grades, it was relatively easy for me to decide to study architecture, advised by another close uncle.
With great effort on the part of my parents and overcoming the difficulties of such a demanding career, I was finally able to turn my passion for drawing beautiful houses into a profession.
Now I put my talent at the disposal of those who want to build quality space where they can live their lives.
