The short answer is: minimum two years.

The long answer is that the process has different phases:

  • Development of the project that will take between 2 and 4 months.
  • Granting of a license by the city council: this period varies depending on the case and may take a few months or, in the worst case, even a year.
  • Work: usually moves between 12 and 18 months.

For the project you only need the architect; When we enter the construction phase, a surveyor or technical architect is also necessary (you can bring your own or let us recommend one).

The builder will be the one in charge of executing the work, it comes into play in that phase. You can look for one or I can recommend one that I usually work with (without an extra cost or taking anything for it).

My part of the job as an architect includes developing the project and monitoring the work. Depending on the type and size of project we are talking about, that price will vary. As soon as I know your specific case better, one of the first things I will do is give you a price for your project.

Payments are made by bank transfer after invoice in installments at different times corresponding to different phases that I will explain to you.

I am not in charge of looking for plots and proposing one to you, although I can help you by recommending someone who does that work.

Having a clear budget, I study your particular case and tell you what you could build according to that budget and your plot conditions. It is not necessary that you hire a project for that, we can do it through an initial consultation and then you decide whether to continue or not.

Yes, I will accompany you in the process, I will indicate the documents we need and I will take care of the project management so that it does not become a headache for you.

To be clear, who is going to live in that villa will be you and your family. You have to like it and adapt to you. My role is to understand your needs and tastes and with my knowledge and tools translate that into a building.

During the process you will see the evolution of the idea and we can make adjustments so that you end up living in the town whose greatest danger is that you are so comfortable that you stop having a social life.

In any case, if at any time you decide to stop or find another architect, we reach an agreement to close the phase we are in without any problem.
